Support and Be Supported: Join the ORPIB Foundation Mentorship Program

We are thrilled about the success of our recently re-launched Mentorship Program!

The ORPIB Mentorship Program matches Business Owners and Leaders with experienced mentors within our community. The 9 month program combines Monthly 1:1 Sessions between mentor and mentee and Quarterly Connection sessions that bring the larger program participants together to share insights and learnings with their peers allowing for meaningful networking connections. The current 2025 session kicked-off on May 27th and will run through February of 2026. This cohort consists of a diverse group of nine business owners and leaders at varying stages of their entrepreneurial journey.

My mentor and I had a really great conversation about how I can step up as a leader in my org as we go through some changes around DEI. It was really helpful to get to talk about how I can best support my peers while staying true to my personal beliefs, while also being a leader.

The ORPIB Foundation Mentorship Program, inspired by the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) initiative, takes inclusivity to the next level by welcoming everyone in our community, not just ORPIB members, to foster entrepreneurial growth and meaningful community connections. This inclusive approach reflects our commitment to fostering entrepreneurial growth and community connection. Non-members accepted into the program will receive a complimentary membership during the period of the program. There is no cost to participate.

The 2026 session will start accepting applications later this Fall for mentees and mentors. To anyone interested in becoming a Mentor, we are looking for 5-10 experienced business leaders with mentorship experience to join us. No need to be an ORPIB Member, you will also enjoy a complimentary membership during the mentorship session.
