June Advocacy Event

Join Oregon Pride in Business (ORPIB) and Basic Rights Oregon (BRO) for an inspiring evening of advocacy, education, and community action. This event is a rallying point for LGBTQIA2S+ and allied business owners ready to stand up and speak out for equality in Oregon.

This event will:

  • Inspire business owners to use their voices and platforms for change

  • Educate on the risks and responsibilities of political advocacy

  • Activate support for the Equal Rights for All Campaign

🎀 Featured Speakers:

  • Kellen Moody, Vice President of Oregon Pride in Business will kick off the program with a powerful message: our communities are under political threatβ€”and it’s time for small business leaders to take a stand. Their energizing talk will address risk analysis and why business advocacy matters now more than ever.

  • Kyndall Mason, Executive Director of Basic Rights Oregon, will share an overview of the Equal Rights for All Campaign and walk attendees through tangible actionsβ€”like how to officially endorse the campaign as a business.

  • Hear personal stories from other business owners and community leaders about their experience using their business as a political platform, including Heidi Liedeker, owner of Meat for Cats and Dogs, and Madi Bourdon, author, educator, and advocate.

This is your chance to connect with other values-driven business owners, learn how to amplify your voice, and commit to a more inclusive Oregon.
