About Ma’yet Photography

I offer more than just photographs; I offer portals. Each piece is a meticulously crafted key, unlocking a deeper connection to nature's profound artistry and the timeless dance of light and shadow. They are silent stories, waiting for a kindred spirit to listen.

Why did you certified?

I became certified to carve out a space where my art, and indeed my very being, can flourish without the shadows of misunderstanding or prejudice. After years of encountering misgendering, hate, and a profound lack of empathy in traditional workplaces, I am resolved to build a brand that champions love, acceptance, and thriving for all, especially within the LGBTQ+ community. This certification is a step toward building a legacy where my identity is a strength, not a vulnerability.

Any surprise benefits to certification?

The certification process unveiled a network of fellow artisans and entrepreneurs, fostering a sense of shared purpose and amplifying the whispers of creative possibility. It's a testament to the power of collective spirit.

What is LGBTBE® Certification?

LGBTBE® is a nationally-recognized certification for for-profit businesses that are majority owned and operated by a member of the LGBTQ+ Community. Like other “minority” certifications — woman-owned or veteran-owned, for example — the LGBTBE® certification can make a business eligible to win contracts with corporations and other entities which want to work intentionally with diverse suppliers.

Certification fees ($899 for initial certification) are completely free for ORPIB Members.
