New OPRIB logo by Ashley Collins

Announcing the new logo for Oregon Pride in Business, created by Graphic Designer Ashley Collins, who serves as a volunteer on our Communications Team.

The ORPIB Board, Staff, and Volunteers decided to look at a redesign in June 2024 after watching so many logos turn to their rainbow variations for Pride Month to demonstrate allyship with the LGBTQ+ Community. As a proudly Q+ organization year-round, we wanted our visual brand to leave no question about our values.

This new logo uses the Progress Pride colors from Daniel Quasar’s Progress Pride Flag, which adds  trans flag stripes (light blue, white, and light pink) and marginalized community stripes (black and brown) to the most-often seen rainbow pride flag. The arc shape invokes both a rainbow, and also a projection or expansion, which represents our expanding presence into all of Oregon and SW Washington, and our hope to inspire others as we work toward supporting vibrant, diverse, and economically empowered LGBTQ+ communities.
